What to say in Prayer
To be able to be pray you need to memorise at least 2 Surah from the Quran. The first is Surah is Al-Fatiha and consists of 7 short verses shown below
1st Surah to memorise (Mandatory)


After reciting Surah Al-Fatiha, follow it up by second Surah from the Quran that you have memorised, this can be any Surah of your preference. We suggest starting with the smaller Surahs (Chapters) that are short and easy to remember such as Surah Al-Ikhlas.
2nd Surah to memorise for Prayer
(any verse from the Quran, Example Surah Al Ikhlaas, short and easy to memorise]

Timing of the Prayers
The timing of the prayer are arranged as follows :
- Fajr – (the period just before sunrise) – 2 rakat
- Dhur – Midday, when the sun is at its highest peak in the sky – 4 rakat
- Asr – Afternoon , period before sunset – 4 rakat
- Maghrib – after the sun has just set past the horizon – 3 Rakat
- Isha – when the sun is completely set, and the stars have started to show – 4 Rakat*
*Rakat is the number of prostrations each Salah requires
